Miriam's Medical Expenses Account

Just a few weeks ago I was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer... yes that is scary; however my prognosis is excellent (so say the doctors) as we have caught it early. My surgery will be Thursday morning, July 6th at Cedars Sinai Hospital where my wonderful handsome surgeon will remove the tumor  ...Found out yesterday that although I have good Insurance coverage, (Medicare and a secondary) it does not cover some additional expenses that I have been told I will have...i.e. special meds with high co-pays..  24 hour nursing care when I get home,  (insurance just covers some hours within the day) possible continued at home care during the  six months of radiation and Chemo following the surgery and so many other  hidden expenses. I'm overwhelmed with the possibilites..So I decided not to panic and to try to stop worrying..Many friends have asked me "what can I do to help" ...guess this is it if you so choose to participate. Any amount will do...I just refuse to worry about the what if's as it's much too debilitating
