Miriam Medical Clinics Building Renovation

Tax deductible

WE ARE SO CLOSE!  ALMOST THERE, WILL YOU HELP US?

When we were given this frame of a building in South Philadelphia, right next door to the Tasker Street Baptist Church, right away the Miriam Board could see this as a place of refuge, a place where the uninsured could walk in with whatever was hurting or debilitating their lives.  We began to imagine and pray that God would make this dream a reality, a place of HOPE and HEALING!

We are so close; we need just $20,000 dollars to finish this beautiful dream!

As the COVID 19 crises continues to spiral, more and more children, families, and mothers with no insurance, no help, individuals of color are desperate!  We came alongside of one young mother, I remember her face, a discouraged mother of a three, when she came to our clinic in North Philadelphia. Her eyes were downcast, unable to see any hope for her or her family’s future; her hypertension made worse due to the gun violence in her neighborhood.  The local hospital discharged her because she had no insurance.  Miriam Medical Clinic was there for her and we are continuing to help her.

This NEW building in South Philadelphia, an extension of Miriam Clinics, is where God is calling us to serve those that are under-served, those with no insurance, no resources, chronic health issues and little or no hope. . We are so close to begin renovating, only $20,000 away to making this a reality NOW!  Any gift that you can make will help us reach this goal.

This won’t just be a building; it will be a place that reverberates HOPE!

Once the COVID-19 restrictions lifts, we are going to host a PARTY celebrating all God has done, we have raised $75,000 and we will lift our hearts to GOD in thankfulness at what HE has accomplished.

Our board of advisors are medical and business professionals with decades of experience. We are assisted with the renovation design and architecture by Wendy Sumida, RA, in legal matters by Mary Chicorelli, Esq of Equal Access Legal Services and will be working with Ed Pridgen of The Prime Corporation to get the renovations completed. Miriam Medical is a registered nonprofit.
