I’m reaching out on behalf of my beautiful cousin, Mirayah Barrios, a devoted wife, loving mother of three, and a bright light in the lives of everyone who knows her. At just 33 years old, Mirayah was recently diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of breast cancer — TRIPLE NEGATIVE DUCTAL CARCINOMA this news has changed her and her family’s world in an instant.
This diagnosis has brought forth an incredibly challenging journey — one filled with treatments, medical appointments, emotional strain, and the unknowns that come with fighting such a serious illness. Through it all, Mirayah remains courageous and full of grace, determined to fight for the life she shares with her husband and their three precious children.
Mirayah’s faith is unwavering in the Lord. No matter what the doctors may say, no matter what the lab results or images may show, she knows deep in her spirit that God is always greater than any report. He has the final word, and her trust is firmly rooted in His promises, not in human diagnosis.
Prayer from Mirayah:
Lord, I thank You for being the Great Physician. I place all my trust in You above any report, scan, or diagnosis. Strengthen my heart and renew my faith daily. Let my life be a testimony that You are greater than any sickness, greater than any fear, and greater than any earthly news. I declare that Your will, not the world's, will prevail in my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
SCRIPTURE
Whose report will you believe? We will believe the report of the Lord.” — Isaiah 53:1
“But Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’” — Matthew 19:26
We’ve created this GoFundMe not just to ask for your prayers and positive energy, but also to humbly ask for any support you may be able to provide. Your donations will go directly toward helping Mirayah and her family cover medical expenses, treatments, travel costs, and the day-to-day needs that become even more difficult during a battle like this.
Every contribution — no matter the amount — makes a difference. And more than anything, we ask that you keep Mirayah and her family in your hearts and prayers as they take on this next chapter with hope, love, and resilience.
Thank you for standing with them in this time of need.
With gratitude,
