“RIVER BAR RESCUE ON 4/17/20“

“Trooper was rescued from the Weitchpec area, which is an hour passed Hoopa, by a joint effort
betwen Shannon, Mikayla & Logan Miranda
and Katrina Senestrero of Miranda’s Rescue and Paula Ray and Damien of Karuna Rescue.
Trooper is scheduled for surgery on 5/5/20 to
remove the massive growth on his back right leg.


A 2nd horse was also rescued that same day and this terribly malnourished horse was so weak he collapsed outside the trailer and both of the
Rescue Teams had to physically move him into
the trailer.


Trooper and the 2nd horse are safely housed 
and being cared for at Miranda’s Rescue in
Fortuna California.
