The Oakland Lacrosse Club is a non profit that empowers Oakland youth to shape their world by using lacrosse as a medium to provide Leadership Training, Academic Support, and College and Career Exploration. Our program currently serves 110 players in grades 6-8. By 2020, we would like our program to be in every Oakland middle school and serving 200 players. The Acalanes and Miramonte Girls  lacrosse programs are dedicating their March 30 game to the Oakland Lacrosse Club. We are hoping to raise $3,000 which funds two players participation in the program for a year. This includes all lacrosse equipment, 150 hours of lacrosse instruction, monthly trips to local colleges and businesses and targeted academic support so all of our players can achieve a 3.0 or higher.
