Monica was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last Spring 2017. She has been through painful rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. She has been in and out of the hospital with complications for the last several months. And recently discharged from the hospital to begin hospice home care after finding out that that the tumor has grown and the cancer has spread to the liver.
Monica, my beautiful cousin, is a vibrant 34 year old woman with a passion for life. Anyone who knows her, knows that to know her is to love her. She she a sweet gentle soul. One of the most kind, caring and genuine persons I have ever met. She is a beloved daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, niece, and friend. She is the absolute BEST cousin and the “glue” to all of us! She’s an awesome sister and an even more awesome aunt to her nieces & nephew. Not to mention what a loved and amazing daughter she is to her parents.
We are raising money for Monica's end of life care and medical costs. To keep her comfortable, provide any medical care and treatment needed, or anything else that may come up. Our wish is to make her as comfortable and happy as possible in the limited time we have left with her.
It it is our goal to make the most of the time we have left with her. To love her, to enjoy her, make more memories, make her happy, and to keep her comfortable, as best as we can. We will not let our Monica fight this alone. She deserves to have mountains moved for her. She is an incredible human being, which is the only explanation as to why God is calling for this angel.
