November 8, 2017 Laurese Coleman & Cornelius Macon welcomed a bouncing baby girl,Jayla Elise Macon, into the world. In those short 13 months Jayla has touched the hearts of so many with her love for dancing, singing, eating and reciting her ABC’s. Jayla is a baby that is full of life and is a joy to be around. Jayla has two other cousins born months ahead of her but you wouldn’t know that they were older because she made it her business to keep up with them..... she was already talking, walking, singing and of course dancing especially when she is being fed(she loves to eat)! On Sunday December 16, 2018 her life took a drastic change. Jayla was found unresponsive and not breathing after being laid to bed for the night. Upon finding Jayla Cpr was immediately initiated while waiting for EMS to arrive. During this time the entire family was praying and laying hands on this beautiful baby girl. CPR sustained Jayla and allowed her to be transported to Comer’s Children’s Hospital where they worked for countless hours to stabilize , and she is now on life support but making progress towards recovery!! Thank you father for this miracle because this could have had a different outcome. During this time her parents have been unable to work because of the support that Jayla requires. That said, I am initiating this go fund me page to elicit help for Laurese and Corey. They have not left her bedside since this tragic event, and that is expected however as adults we all have responsibilities when taking care of a household. So this page was created to elicit funds from those that are able to help in this time of need.Organizer
