My name is Kye and this is our cat Bandit. (Big Booty Bandit, Dapper Kitty, BANNNDIITTT, Dapper Kitty Goobaz) We adopted him from an awesome lady who we are still in touch with. We adopted him when he was 4. He is 9 now and such a good cat. He loves his tube tunnels, anything soft, and of course, he loves food. He loves his dad; he gives the best ‘dapper scratches’.

I am going to post what my fiancé explained (I have never done anything like this before). Small update for those who have been asking:
On Thursday night during the stream, I abruptly ended because our cat Bandit very quickly lost all functions of his back legs and was in a lot of pain. Long story short, he's been battling blood clots that emerged very suddenly. In talks with vets and vet students, we have had him in comfort care with meds and blood thinners. Any surgical procedures were not only way outside of our budget but provided a very low survival outcome or a bad quality of life with a short extension of life span upon success. He has spent the last few nights pain-free but slowly losing his fight. However, last night, we had been injecting food and water into his mouth, and he was able to keep it down. Now to today: in a surprising turn of events, his back legs went from cold (from lack of blood flow) to warm again. And to our shock, Bandit managed to crawl out of his bed and actually WALK across the room, albeit with his feet dragging. He has suddenly begun regaining use and strength in his legs and managed to use the bathroom for the first time in days all on his own. This is by far the most positive sign we've had. Now, in no way are we out of the woods. However, we were fairly certain he wouldn't survive Friday night, and now he has suddenly begun recovering. We are cautiously optimistic, but this is such a sudden change towards something good. I appreciate any and all prayers sent our way for our beloved kitty. We are still praying for that miracle and will continue to shower him with love and help treat him towards recovery.
