I know a lot of people who really love animals (even specifically this one), so I figured I’d give this a shot!
This is my kitty, Miracle. I got her as a gift from my parents when I was 9 years old. We had no idea when we got her that she had been on the cover of Royale toilet paper (if you’re Canadian you know the one) and was in the commercials.
Since then, Miracle has been by my side through every milestone and every hardship I’ve faced. She has been my biggest support, and the best therapy I’ve ever had comes from just having her with me. She loves music, the sound of my singing voice, watching movies with me, and she loves to play hockey with different household items. She is my best friend in the whole world. (Animal people know).
Miracle has never had any health problems up until a few weeks ago when we noticed she had stopped eating and was acting extremely clingy and did not want to be left alone. She would cry as if she was trying to tell us what was wrong but couldn’t get it through to us. We took her to the vet to find that she was extremely dehydrated and malnourished. They pumped her with fluids and she’s now on an appetite stimulant to help her keep eating until we figure out what’s wrong. As you can imagine, the vet bills aren’t cheap. There will be many tests and treatments that could potentially help my baby get better. Unfortunately animals aren’t covered on any kind of insurance. She’s 11 years old and still so full of life.
They want to do an ultrasound of her bowels and stomach to see if there is any type of cancer, IBS, or other infections/diseases. This one test alone is extremely expensive and there will be more treatments and tests required.
I would be so grateful to anyone who donated even $1 towards Miracle’s treatments. She’s been my best friend for over 11 years and I really do not want to lose her.
