Ministry For Hope

Thank you for visiting, 11 years ago my family suffered the loss of my older brother Frankie, who just 39 years old and a father of two amazing daughters. After years of struggling with addiction he lost the evil battle and it seems as though this story has become all too common throughout Long Island.

Since my brother's passing I wanted to find a way to help other young people that are struggling with the same disease and give them hope. I have been fortunate to become involved in an organization called HOPE HOUSE.  Hope House is a Long Island based charity that helps 1000's of young men and women that are battling addiction by providing them with shelter, counseling, guidance and most importantly HOPE that they can overcome their struggles. 

In addition they are very vocal in the local community  raising awareness about the ongoing heroin epidemic that does not discriminate against race, age and status. 

To give you an idea of their reach, please read below. 
A few months I was out in Huntington and ran into someone I have known for years who has an adult son that I know had been struggling with addiction. Everytime I see her I make it a point to ask and this time she looked up said to "You are not going to believe this he is back on Long Island and he is in this amazing place called HOPE HOUSE. As she started crying she continued to explain to me that for the first time in 5 years she feels she has her son back and most importantly has HOPE that he can win this battle." She continued to say how she visits him every week and can't believe the level of support he gets not only from the staff but past members of Hope House and she is so grateful for the work they do.  

Every year at Frankie's anniversary I make a big push to raise as much money for Hope House as we can to honor him and his two amazing daughters Nikki and Victoria. It is my hope that our efforts will help more young men and women overcome their struggles and prevent others from going down this dark path.
