Mining Tragedy Assistance
I just received some very sad news, our beloved friend, Brother Minor Perez has passed away . He was surrounded by his family when he died.
I as well as my family were able to talk to him and tell him how much we love him before he died. Minor is now in Jehovah God's memory and the promise God gives us of a resurrection will be Minors future.
Let us continue to donate funds for Minors funeral expenses as well as helping his family Beyond these tragic days.

My Brother in law, Minor Perez, was working on Friday June 23rd in Costa Rica excavating a trench between to mountains.
He was operating a Back-Hoe machine at 4pm when a landslide happened, burying him and the machine under tons of boulders and earth.
I received the call from my sister in law Ruthy at 9pm who told me what happened. When she told me that it seems like he did not survive, we both started crying. I woke up my wife Patricia and shared the tragic news. Minor is such a genuine honest hardworking husband Father and brother. I could not believe he was gone. When I saw the Costa Rican National news videos (below) online I prayed to Jehovah that Minor is not gone, it all seemed blurred. we stood up all night, really in a fog, until 2:am when we received the news that Minor was found buried BUT ALIVE! Tears of sadness turned into tears of joy and hope.
He spent 20 hours buriied 10 feet deep under tons of rock and dirt until Staurday June 24th at 12:30pm when he was finally freed from the tomb. He was rushed to the hospital with catastrophic injuries to his legs. He suffered cardiac arrest was resuscitated and then underwent amputation of both legs below the knees. He also suffered kidney failure and is currently on life support. Minor is very brave and strong man but his condition is extremely grave.
Lets Us all pray for Minor and the Family remembering that Jehovah God is the hearer of prayers -Psalms 65:2
Mi cuñado, Minor Pérez, estaba trabajando el viernes 23 de junio en Costa Rica excavando una zanja entre montañas.
Él estaba operando una máquina Back-Hoe a las 4 pm cuando ocurrió un deslizamiento de tierra, enterrándolo a El y la máquina bajo toneladas de rocas y tierra.
Recibí la llamada de mi cuñada Ruthy a las 9 pm que me contó lo que pasó. Cuando me dijo que parece que no sobrevivió, ambos empezamos a llorar. Desperté a mi esposa Patricia y comparti las trágicas noticias. Minor es un verdadero hombre,honesto y trabajador. hijo,esposo,Padre y hermano y amigo. No podía creer que se hubiera ido. Cuando vi los videos de noticias de Costa Rica (abajo) en línea, le dije a Jehová que Minor no se había ido, todo parecía borroso. Nos quedamos levantados toda la noche, realmente era una confusion hasta las 2: am cuando recibimos la noticia de que Minor fue encontrado enterrado PERO VIVO! Lágrimas de tristeza se convirtieron en lágrimas de alegría y esperanza.
Pasó 20 horas enterrado a 10 pies de profundidad bajo toneladas de roca y tierra hasta el sábado 24 de junio a las 12:30 pm cuando finalmente fue liberado de los escombros . Lo llevaron al hospital con lesiones catastróficas en las piernas. Sufrió paro cardíaco y respiratorio y luego sufrió la amputación de ambas piernas por debajo de las rodillas. También sufrió insuficiencia renal y actualmente está en soporte vital. Minor es un hombre muy valiente y fuerte, pero su condición es extremadamente grave.
