a new album coming early to mid 2022
hi all, it's our 20th - 23rd anniversary and we have decided that it's time to get back there into them studios and pump out a new album filled to the brim with your favorite video game hits.
as we're all old and so very, very tired, we need help funding the studio costs and pressing the vinyl/cds/etc, so we've decided to crowdfund this one instead of doing pre-orders like the last few albums.
WHAT IS STATDEMON?
STATDEMON is a demon that specializes in statistics - any stats you might need, but usually of the personal variety. we have been summoning STATDEMON for many years. now you too can ask things like
"STATDEMON, how many times have I heard Billy Joel's Zanzibar"
"STATDEMON, how many eggs have I eaten and in what ways over my entire life"
"STATDEMON, how many times has someone on earth said 'STATDEMON' compared with how many times someone has said 'fairy peanut butter exhaust nickels'"
and although STATDEMON never replies, STATDEMON knows the answers to all these questions. and knowing that is, like, a great comfort or something.
WHAT SONGS WILL BE ON STATDEMON?
we can't reveal the full tracklist yet, we will as time goes on, and you can even have a part in shaping it (see the tiers below). we can reveal these right now

WHO WILL DO THE ART FOR STATDEMON?
the incomparable Matt Smith will once again be handling the cover for us. he's done the cover for every minibosses release and even though he's a very busy boy, we're very happy he'll be handling STATDEMON too! and, we can FINALLY pay him for his work through this gofundme. Matt has always worked pro bono for us out of the generosity of his big barbarian heart. you can check out Matt's stuff at matt-illustrations.com and we'll be promoting some of his stuff on our socials soon.
WHEN WILL STATDEMON BE AVAILABLE?

we'd also like to include a special thank you to everyone who helps fund the album. rather than having a donors list or something similar, we thought it would be fun if every donor sent us a photo, of either themselves or a loved one or a pet or really anything they care about, within reason. then we'll compile them all in kind of a cool pointillism way and include it in the album art somehow.
