Hi everyone! My name is Chi (Chloe) Tran and I’m from Gilroy, California. I’m creating this fundraising campaign to help my brother, Minh Tran.
In February 2017, Minh was in a very serious motorcycle accident at Fort Ord in Monterey. He was not breathing when he was rushed to Natividad Hospital, and he suffered numerous injuries from countless broken bones, broken legs, and a dislocated wrist. To be honest, he is lucky to even be alive.
Over the last year, Minh has gone through more than ten different surgeries on his wrist and both legs. Minh’s doctor just told him that he will need to have another surgery on January 12: due to an ongoing infection, his left leg will be amputated below the knee. Although amputation is scary, we have strong hopes that this surgery will make his life much easier and allow him to live more comfortably.
Minh has a very long road to recovery ahead of him. We can’t begin to imagine the cost of medical bills alone over the coming weeks, months, and even years. He has not been able to work since the accident, and at this point his medical expenses are out of control.
We have done our best to support Minh during this long recovery, but we are at the point where we need to ask for more help. If you can make any donation, large or small, our family would be so grateful. Any gift would be immensely appreciated.
All donations will be sent directly to Minh’s bank account from my bank account as needed. He will be able to use the funds to pay for his medical bills, living expenses, future prosthetic leg, and everything else as needed. Thank you for your help.
