Mindy's Medical Needs

My sister-in-law Mindy in the beginning of July of this year was diagnosed with stage four aggressive pancreatic cancer and also a blood clot in the spleen. Mindy has opted to take chemo to spend as much time with her family as possible. The insurance covers most of the chemo and cancer treatments, but only covers a portion of the preventive blood clotting injections, she has to give herself daily. The medication for the injections are $2,000.00 a month.
Mindy and my brother Nick Portzen  have been great support to many causes over the years of running their bowling alley in Dodgeville, WI.
