'Mind Your Mind' is a campaign raising awareness and funds for two Charities, Mental Health Ireland and The Pituitary Foundation Ireland
Mental Health Ireland - Mental Health Ireland is a path available to everyone. It is so important to mind your mind, reach out, talk to someone if you are struggling in anyway.
The Pituitary Foundation Ireland - The Pituitary Foundation help and support those who live with illnesses caused by problems with the Pituitary Gland, a very small (size of a pea) but powerful gland that hangs off a stalk attached to the brain, in behind the eyes.

Why these two Charities?
"Having undergone surgery in October 2019 to remove a benign tumor on my pituitary gland in Beaumont Hospital, I have felt what it is like to know how important it is to have supports around you when you need it most.
I wanted to raise awareness of pituitary tumors, having experienced what it is like to have one. They are rare and their affect can be life changing. They can cause disruption in the body that can have a detrimental affect on day to day living, affecting mood, weight gain, weight loss, hormone imbalances, adrenal function insufficiency, thyroid problems, may cause blindness, immense fatigue, excessive thirst and that's just one small element! I feel I am one of the lucky ones, thanks to all the medical professionals and supports available to me, as I continue my road to recovery.
It is so important to'Mind Your Mind'.
Please reach out and talk to someone if you are struggling in anyway.
Know that there is always hope and that there are supports available to help you find a way forward."
How can I inspire you?
"I have produced a music video with a message of hope. The idea came about in April 2020 during lockdown in Ireland, where I wanted to show others that there is always a way forward if life becomes more of a struggle than a place of enjoyment.
Reach out to the supports available to you, take it one step at a time, continue to talk and soon you will see changes for the better."
