This "Go Fund Me" account is being established for Mindy Vacek and her husband Michael and their three children, Meleah who is 11, Madison is 9 and Mikey is 7. Michael Vacek son of Barbara and Eugene Vacek was born in Richmond Texas and graduated Needville High School in 1992. He then graduated from Texas Tech in Lubbock. He met and married Mindy McGilvery daughter of Patty Hand of Conroe Texas who was born in Iowa and raised in the Houston area since she was 2 and graduated from University of Houston. They are raising their 3 children in Montgomery, Texas.
They are self employed and were in the process of starting up a new business when it was discovered that Mindy had to have surgery immediately.
Within days their journey in life took a different turn. Mindy was operated on and a mass was removed from her small intestines. Through all of that is when we found out that Mindy was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma. Not sure which stage she is in but is does not matter because we are believing God she will be healed.
T-Cell lymphoma is a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma that directly attacks the body's T-cells. T-cells are a type of white blood cell of the lymphatic system that protects the body from infection. Playing a major role in the immune sytem, T-cells finds and eliminate infections, bacteria, and viruses. T-cells carry unique receptors that allow them to react to, seek out, and attack virtually any given antigen present within the body. That is, of course, unless they themselves are infected. With chemo and this lymphoma Mindys white blood cells continue to constantly drop which in turn, she easily can get sick almost immediately from even the slightest cold. Which is what is happening now. She has been more in the hospital than at home since the surgery. She constantly gets fever and a very high heart rate which sends her to the emergency room and into days of icu. Sometimes its gets pretty serious.
They have some insurance but the medical cost are rising at an unbelievably rate. Within three months, just the medical amounts are way over $300,000. They are consumed by the ever mounting cost, and the everyday expenses of running a household with three small children. Michael has been a very dutiful husband and is at Mindys side constantly which has taken him away from the start of his new roofing business,

Several friends, neighbors, family members and even just friends of friends that dont know them personally have been offering to help. This is a way for you to give, whatever it is you want to help them with during this holiday season with the needs of their children, the household expenses and the climbing medical bills.
Michael and Mindy are going through a very hard time and we are only in asking you to help if you so desire. Whatever amount, even $5.00 will be greatly appreciated.
