Help us bring Mindfulness education to the Weilenmann School of Discovery!
Randi Jo Taurel and Rebecca Brenner, two local and well known yoga, mindfulness and meditation practitioners are piloting the Mindful Schools curriculum this coming year at our school. Their goal is to instruct 12 teachers at WSD each year in creating and fostering mindfullness in their educational environments with the intention of training the whole staff within 5 years.
Randi Jo and Rebecca received a grant for the majority of the program implementation costs for this year. However, in order to meet their goal of 12 educators for 2017/2018 they still need an additional $6,180. We hope to have these funds within the next few weeks in order to begin training our teachers as soon as possible.
