Flanigan wrote the nature-based ABC/poetry book M is for Mindful to help her young daughter cultivate self-awareness, compassion, respect for diversity, and other intentional practices. Artist Heather Jones spent 26 weeks—one week for each letter of the alphabet—on 52 beautiful, hand-painted canvases for the book.
