Mimp Magazine is a non-profit, platform & annual print volume with an aim to celebrate the infinite imperfections of the women around us and within.

We're more than a magazine.

Mimp is a platform that brings women together with powerful words and images, events and an annual print campaign. We're a community of strong women who thrive on connecting and growing by learning from women that inspire us.

Mimp Magazine was a project that bloomed from a single shared idea: "I want to look at the pages of a publication and see myself." Survey after survey, collaboration after collaboration, we realized that so many women felt the exact same way.

We’re redefining beauty and femininity by embracing our imperfections and creating safe spaces for women
to share and thrive.

 It's time women see ourselves represented by women and defy media standards that perpetuate patriarchal societal norms.


The way women view and digest media about women, marketed to us by people inundated with the male gaze, is a serious and very relevant issue. It is all too easy to become obsessed with a social media feed overflowing with images that promote negative body image and women that don't reflect who we are and who we want to be.

We believe in the importance of viewing topics through an intersectional lens and to always be inclusive of women of different identities. It is important to be aware of the privileges of our backgrounds and the different hardships women face; let women share the experiences that belong to them and with the stories that they identify. 

Our goal is to get young women of our generation behind the camera, behind the marketing, and show them how we see the world.

With our last campaign (Sisterhood), we learned the importance of surrounding yourself with a community of strong women who only wish to see you grow, develop and succeed. We redefined the concept of sisterhood, encouraging intersectionality in feminism and diversity in the media and learning how to build strong, genuine friendships.

We have much bigger plans for 2018 and we need your help!

We are raising funds for our annual 2018 Campaign: Reclaim.


Last year, women in the media and around North America finally stood up together to create a united front against their oppressors and abusers. Their bravery has encouraged others to share their stories and has also helped women acknowledge and learn from these traumatic aspects of their experience. Through this growth and understanding, arrived a very personal realization and question that seems common among all of us: “Where do I go from here?”

This year, we want to conduct a conversation about calling back what belongs to us as women. An artistic representation of a return to wholeness after experiences and people that have left us feeling broken.

We will be using the funds to cover the costs of printing and production and so that we can compensate our hard-working contributors and create an incredibly immersive and experiential ad campaign. 

Everyone on the team is a student with a passion for feminism and the arts, turning our dreams into reality one day at a time. 

Any amount helps us! With your support, we'll be able to complete our vision and become one step closer to getting young women the resources and representation they deserve.
