Mimi's Cancer Care Fund

On August 21, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I had a sigmoid colon resection on September 6. The surgeon was hoping that this would be the end of my cancer story.  Unfortunately, on September 8, the surgeon informed my mom and I that I have stage 3b colon cancer. When one has this surgery, after the tumor is cut out and the lymph nodes are dissected, the pathologist stages it. In my case, it was grossly positive in one node and has entered my lymphatic vascular and perineural nervous system.  Now I have been given a 50/50 shot of survival without  chemotherapy. SO... I start chemotherapy tomorrow. I have 6 months of intense chemotherapy to go through.  
These funds will help me pay my rent and bills for 5 more months. I am trying to remain positive and stress free through this time. My situation is fairly urgent as I would like to be able to have my bills paid and focus on my treatment.
