<div>Ian and Amanda purchased Mimi's Attic from its founder in November of 2020 with dreams of continuing the legacy of being the only furniture consignment shop in New York's Southern Tier while developing and promoting an LGBTQIA+ positive atmosphere for our employees and customers. Our company is dedicated to treating all community members ethically and promoting environmental sustainability, despite these values sometimes conflicting with standard recommended business practices.

<div>With the current economic recession and inflation impacting our operating costs, we're finding it difficult to make ends meet and are looking for any available support to help pay our employees and rent. At the same time, we continue to seek alternate revenue streams that will allow us to continue to serve the local community in a changing financial landscape.
