Help Mimi Rand Recover

Hi
Our beloved Mimi Rand was in an accident last month. Mimi has had multiple surgeries to repair her broken leg, two broken arms and fractured vertabrae. She is now being transferred to a full time rehabilitation center where she can get the care she requires.
Mimi, a teacher in the Stamford community for over 30 years, has touched the lives of countless children and young adults. There is not a person who has encountered Mimi who isn't better for it. After so many years of devotion to our community, Mimi now needs our help. For those of you who don't know Mimi well - she was widowed 9 years ago and has been the sole support of her sons. In addition to her full time job as a teacher at BiCultural Day School she tutors, teaches Hebrew School and gives Bar/Bat Mitzvah lessons for many hours each evening and weekends.
Unfortunately during her recovery Mimi will be unable to work. BiCultural Day School is supporting her in every way they can during the coming months of healing. However, she will still need help covering her day to day living expenses and medical care above her insurance coverage. Mimi has never had a lot in the way of material possessions but she lives life as though she is the luckiest person in the world. She would give her very last cent and the shirt off her back to someone less fortunate without any hesitation at all.
The Rands, their friends and family appreciate any contribution you can make to help Mimi through this difficult recovery.
