You know me as Ms Gay Vancouver 45 Mimi Anmormi I’m also known by some as Colin.

First and foremost thank you for even reading this. I always hate asking for help I love to help others I have always given myself to charity weather it be as a child shaving my head for cancer research or even now being a co chair of The Rhinestone Phoenix Charity Foundation. Giving has always been apart of who I am. Now I am asking for help not as a sign of weakness but a sign of strength as I can’t do this alone.

On August 8th 2025 I checked into St Paul’s Hospital due to having dizziness for multiple days the doctors originally diagnosed me with vertigo and said if anything changes to come back.

On August 11th 2025 while at work parts of my body started to feel numb so I immediately went back to the hospital. The Doctors were concerned and did a CT scan and found a bleed in my brain this concerned them as I am a healthy person so they did a MRI to find the cause. What they found was a Mass called a Ependymoma commonly found in children but can be found in adults on rare occasions. At this time it’s unknown if this is cancerous but surgery will be needed and recovery time is 6 month to a year.

The money raised would be used to help pay rent, bills and buy food while in recovery as I won’t be able to work. I am applying for Medial EI and other benefits but we all know how long those take time.
