<div>About 6 months ago Milo Was diagnosed with PANDAS... which is short for Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections. This condition makes his brain swell, inducing psychosis. Effecting his Communication &amp; impulse control, his learning ability, his sleep.. everything.  In addition, he’s developed OCD &amp; Tics. Some days are spent trying simply to keep him from trying to escape and harm himself.  It wipes his immune system leaving his body more susceptible and reactive to everyday things. After this, our life came to a halt &amp; shrunk to a tiny box, one where we could make him feel comfortable &amp; safe and ensure he wasn't exposed to anything that could make the condition worse. His life has been interrupted, his childhood on Pause as he struggles daily to do the simplest of things. All doctor visits, treatments, travel, medications ECT.. are out of pocket and its become more than we can bare alone. We are saving up to be able to bring him to Boston for special Treatment. We will use this for medications, foods, doctors appts, special tests and bloodwork and all other things encompassing milo and what he needs. All of our focus is going to helping stablilize him and giving him the best quality of life possible while we help him heal.
