Milo Lanoue Memorial Fund

It is with deep sadness that we find ourselves writing about the sudden loss of Milo Lanoue. Milo passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, April 7, leaving behind devoted wife, Katie, and loving son, Bennett, 8 years old.

Anyone who knew Milo would agree that he had a presence about him that drew you in ... he was well spoken, funny, quick witted, and clearly loved his family very much. He worked very hard to provide for his family, always in search of the best job to allow him to take care of them as best he could. After moves from Massachusetts, to Pennsylvania, to Virginia, back to Pennsylvania, and then finally returning to Massachusetts, they thought they found their "happy place." Milo landed a position at U Mass, Amherst, and they bought their first house this past fall. Katie was just telling us this past weekend how much Milo loved making maple syrup from their maple trees, their plans to get chickens, and how Milo was going to build Bennett a tree house this summer.

Everyone who knows this family, loves this family. As friends and family learn about Milo's sudden passing, one of the first things everyone responds with is, "How can I help?" Thus, we have created this Go Fund Me page to help Katie and Bennett through this very difficult time and into the future.

Thank you so much for all the love and support you have shown, and continue to show, Milo's family during this extremely difficult time.

Sincerely,
Friends of Katie
