These days, I’m fixated on one thing: building a sustainable fruit + vegetable farm that will offer nourishment to my family and their neighbors in Havana. So, I’ve made it my business to do just that!
This endeavor is starting as many of life’s greatest things do: with a vision, some love, and a whole lot of passion.
Farming is food security, and the people of Havana know this better than most. This small farm will build wellness and community for many. So, with this project, I’m ready to create the dream envisioned.
Please help us bring this to life. We'll hit the ground running, and keep you updated with photos of progress and determination!
One day soon, we’ll all be amazed by the impact of our contributions on the people of El Cerro. Our collective effort will provide them with fresh and healthy food to sustain them and their families - and believe me – a little from you will absolutely go a long way.
As the sole beneficiary of this campaign, I will responsibly use your contributions to:
1. Pay for the travel costs of a small group of young farmers (from NYC to Havana)
2. Purchase the materials needed to build the farm
3. Hire local labor to offer support to the young farmers
4. Order 100 reusable tote bags to distribute fruits + vegetables to the community
If we exceed our goal amount, we’ll explore funding the costs of more youth groups to visit the farm in the near future.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read, watch, and support!
