Mills Tower webcam & ATCS site

Come out to Iowa Falls on Sunday, Oct 3rd between 1030am and 3pm to check out the only remaining railroad interlocking tower in the State of Iowa! Admission will be $15/person and lunch is provided. Members of the Iowa Falls Historical Society and the NRHS-Iowa Chapter will be providing tours of the Mills Tower and Illinois Central Depot, both in Iowa Falls. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to purchase a webcam, radios and server equipment for monitoring train movements (including ATCS) from the Mills Tower. We will have coverage of two railroads (Canadian National and Union Pacific) as well as a webcam facing northeast toward the diamond to see all train movements. Due to the railroads using different communication systems, additional equipment will be needed to monitor both lines.  If you cannot attend, please consider donating to the GoFundMe site for this project!
