NHS Swim & Dive Million Yard Challenge

Please support NHS Girls Swimming & Diving in our third annual Million Yard Challenge!

 During our second full week of practice the NHS girls swim team will collectively swim ONE MILLION yards. We will average 200,000 yards per day.  Over 606 miles!  40,000 lengths of the pool!

Swimming is an individual sport, but this is a team goal.  During this week of practice we will encourage each other and motivate each other to finish every last yard.  

Not only are these funds important to the team, but we will be donating 10% of total funds raised to the Needham Food Pantry.   We will end this year's challenge with a breakfast & can drive to support our local community.  

Whatever you can give will be greatly appreciated.  But here are some suggestions.

-$10- That's a dollar for every Bay State Conference Meet we are going to compete to win in.

-$17: That's a dollar for every meet NHS Swimming and Diving will compete in during the 2012 season.

-$32: That's 20 cents for every length of the pool each swimmer is going to to every day (that 160 lengths of the pool)

-$40: That's 50 cents for every lap (2 lengths of the pool) that each swimmer will do every day.

-$50: That's $10 for every day the NHS Swimming and Diving Team will be working towards our Million Yard goal.  

-$200: That's a dollar for every hundred yards each swimmer will swim this week.  

If you dont want to donate here, you can also give your favorite NHS swimmer or diver a donation via cash or check(made out the to the NHS Girls Swimming & Diving).  It still counts towards our goal.
