Miller Family Fire Relief

Donation protected
On Thanksgiving Day, my 16 year old son Jackson, his dad Paul and Jackson's 98 year old grandmother, Dorothy, lost everything to a devastating house fire.

Thankfully, Jackson was out of the house and Dorothy and Paul escaped without harm. However, they lost virtually all of their possessions.  Tragically, due to circumstances out of their control, there was no homeowner's insurance on the home or contents.

Their immediate needs are great. Although some of Jackson's clothing was with him at the time. Dorothy and Paul have no clothes, food, personal items,  household goods, furniture or a working phone. They will need money for replacements and many other things we all take for granted.

Additionally, without a source to rebuild their home  of 40 years, the city will likely require the house to be torn down soon.

At 98 years old, Dorothy has vision and hearing problems that make getting around in unfamiliar places more difficult. Because of this, finding a permanent solution for housing is critical.

In such a short period of time, we have all been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support by neighbors, friends and family. Many people have asked how they can help.  We are hopeful that you will consider a donation, big or small, so that they can start to rebuild  their lives. Your support will be incredibly appreciated as they try to cope with this loss.

Please feel free to share this post. We all want to do all we can to help Jackson, Dorothy and Paul get through the holidays and start the new year on a better note.
