Miller Co. Volunteer Fire Dept.

Donation protected
The Miller County Volunteer Fire Department has been Ground Zero for all of the help and rescue efforts during Hurricane Michael in Colquitt, Ga.

These are salt-of-the-earth volunteers who are continuously putting themselves in harms way to help the people of Colquitt.

I’ve personally witnessed their wives cooking, serving, cleaning - all for other people who are also there to help Colquitt during this tragedy. These same firemen have had THEIR homes destroyed. But yet they are still helping others.

The funds raised here will go directly to Fire Chief Craig Tully, known around the state because he has been the Chief for 37 years. He used to teach me Sunday School, and fixed any problem I ever had with a car. It doesn’t get any better than this man and his wife, Cindy.

He will appropriately allocate any funds received to those families who need it most. The sooner we can raise money for them, the sooner they can get back to a normal life.

Give what you can, but know that it is going to the right people for the right reasons. ❤️
