Millennium Family Relief Fund

The thing that I've personally felt most proud of over the past 13 years of being with Millennium has been hiring a wonderful group of people who care so much, work so hard and feel like Millennium is a second home-if not a first. As terrible as having to close is for our business, the worst part of the past few days has overwhelmingly been letting this group of 50 dedicated, hard working people who have irreplaceable positive attitudes down. They without a doubt make Millennium what it is for us and for all of you.

Whether you've been in once, been in regularly, come for special occasions--if you've enjoyed your time, your drinks and your food--it's been because of our staff--dishwashers, prep cooks, pastry chefs, hosts, servers, bussers, food runners, bartenders, line cooks, and floor managers. These amazing people are now all out of work, and we know this is affecting everyone on different levels. If you can help even a little bit, it would be SO very much appreciated. Most people in the service industry live paycheck to paycheck--even day to day. While our employees have filed or are in the process of filing  for unemployment, the unemployment process takes time-- and unfortunately it also just doesn't anywhere near cover the compensation that every single one of our team members counts on to survive. They have children, they are artists, musicians and teachers--and they all count on us to make ends meet in the Bay Area.

*This is not for our business, it is only for supporting our employees. Funds raised will be distributed in full to our staff--and based on the number of hours they have worked over the past 6 months.*
