Milk Aisle Film

The film Milk Aisle is set in the late 50’s during the civil rights movement and shares the story of a young black man named James Hudson who is imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit.  While in prison, he receives a letter from a young white girl named Ruby Sanders who thought her letter was going elsewhere but it somehow got attached to a letter going to the prison.  On a whim, James responds and an unlikely relationship begins.  Completely unaware of each other's physical characters, the two begin to fall for the person they cannot see... until the letters are discovered and their true identities are made known.  Suddenly the two are faced with the difficult decision of listening to what their hearts know is right and listening to what the world around them thinks.
