Wounded Military Warrior Hunt

The Military Warrior Hunt is a Non-Profit Charity created by a couple from Panna Maria named Randy & Debbie Pawelek.
Randy & Debbie own an 877 acre ranch located on the Karnes and Goliad County lines between Charco and Choate, Texas.
Each year they open up their ranch to 4-5 lucky Veterans for a weekend extravaganza filled with hunting, shooting, lodging, good food and great company. All consumables to make this event happen are donated by local businesses and set up through various volunteers. 100% of donations given to this Charity go straight to the Veterans selected for this hunt.
The Veterans that are chosen to attend this event are selected from the Brooke Army Medical Center who are either currently receiving or have received treatments. These are Warriors who have been severally wounded in the line of duty to our Great Nation.
This Charity was set up by Randy & Debbie as a way to give back to those who so selflessly sacrificed for our everyday freedoms.
This year, the hunt is scheduled for September 29th – October 1st. The weekend will focus on dove and hog hunting, with trap shoots in-between.
Bethany and I have volunteered to help guide and set up the Warrior hunt this year. We have also made a special commitment to raising $5k for gifts for the Warriors as well as donating money ourselves.
The money will go towards gifts (rifle & accessory’s) for each warrior. This is a way everyone can give back and say thank you to those who put it all on the line for us. The gifts will be given out at the end of the weekend.
All donations are tax deductible and recognized under Randy’s 501C3 nonprofit corp. “Military Warrior Hunt” Taxpayer #32063434552.
