Surgery for Miley

Donation protected

On the morning of January 1st, my sweet Miley was diagnosed with IVDD, which is short for "Intervertebral Disc Disease". This disease affects their ability to walk and in Miley's severe case, she has lost full mobility in her hind legs and the only treatment for her is surgery to remove the diseased intervertebral disk.

Three years ago, I met with a friend who was looking to find a home for this beautiful Dachshund. When I picked Miley up and held her in my arms, she began kissing my face and showing me love as if she knew me. From the beginning, I knew that we belonged to each other and that I would do everything in my power to ensure she lives her best life possible.

Miley has helped me through my depression and anxiety throughout the years, making me who I am today and it's my turn to help her like the way she's always helped me.

Unfortunately, seeing a Neurology Specialist isn't cheap and everything including the MRI scans, surgery, and medication are averaging to be about $6000 to $7000 out of pocket. As much as I hate asking for help, Miley and myself really need it right now to begin the surgery and ensure her healthy future to run around and wag again with her brother, Cyrus.

If you are able to contribute, Miley and I will be eternally grateful.
Thank you so much for your support and taking the time to read.
