Miles for St. Croix

The combination of Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria devastated public infrastructure, personal property and lives in general throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands. The damage is so extensive nearly 100,000 American citizens are without food, water or shelter. 90% of St. Croix is without power, to include the only major hospital on the island. In an effort to raise awareness and aid for the recovery in the Virgin Islands my co-worker and I plan to ride 1,000 miles from the summit of Piancavallo, to the summit of Mount Etna, Italy. We believe with your help, and the influence and reach of social media, this effort could raise substantial funds for procuring potable water and other aid that is so critically needed on the islands right now, and for the foreseeable future. All donations will be funneled through the United Way of the U.S. Virgin islands initially, and then distributed to those in dire need. As first responders it is in our nature to try to help where we can. Please consider contributing as we endeavor to bring aid and comfort to those most affected by these natural disasters.
