560 Miles for The Hummingbird

The Hummingbird Centre has been there for anyone affected by cancer since 2014. Never turning a soul away, the Hummingbird has welcomed people through its doors like old friends, always ready with tea and cake in hand.

It has supported both those suffering from cancer and their families through the darkest moments of their lives. Now it's our time to be there for the Hummingbird.

The centre hasn't been able to open its doors since March 2020, and has not been able to fundraise since before then. But despite this, it has continued to operate in any way it can to support those in need, including creating an online counselling team.

Over the whole of March, eight of our counsellors, and our founder Mechelle Harris are going to be running a collective 560 miles to spread the word and raise money for this incredible charity.
