Miles for Marley

Our friends and neighbors, Brian and Jessica, are experiencing every parent's nightmare.  Their daughter, Marley, underwent surgery less than a month ago to remove a brain tumor.  Over the past 3 weeks, they've awaited the results of the biopsy and the results aren't what they had hoped.  Marley will need to undergo radiation treatment for an aggressive form of cancer.  They will spend 6 weeks away from home to get the best treatment possible.

This fundraiser is being established to help the Golden's with travel, medical bills and other expenses.  

Through this campaign, I'm hoping to raise money and lift the spirits of Marley and her family.  As an active runner, I'm dedicating my miles to Marley in hopes of a full recovery.  I will keep Marley's struggle close at heart when my body is tired and the finish line seems so far away.  I will use Marley's fight as inspiration to push forward, no matter how difficult the endeavor.  

I hope that Marley's story inspires many others to lace up their walking or running shoes and begin logging miles in her honor.  I hope that others can be inspired to dedicate their miles towards lifting Marley's spirit and help raise funds.  Every mile counts!
