Mikuuni Village Water Project

Hi everyone my name is Ndeninsia Issangya. I am from Arusha, Tanzania. When visiting a village I used to go to school in during the 1970s, I found out that they are experiencing a great deal of water scarcity. So I am partnering with Mikuuni Lutheran Church to dig a well and build a reservoir to solve this problem. Because of the size of this project, I am asking for your generous donations to help me help Mikuuni Village.

Women and children walk anywhere from 3 to 6 miles each day to collect water from a nearby township. As you can see from the pictures, they employ donkeys to help with this burden.

Another result of the lack of water is that the land is impossible to till - making it very difficult for local farmers to prosper.

Anything that you can give to the Mikuuni Village Water Project will be greatly appreciated. With your help, we can change their lives for the better.
