Miko & Jodie Rebuild

As many of you know,  Miko & Jodie recently faced the violating reality that their home had been invaded. The culprits  busted through a window in broad daylight and took all sorts of things, from jewelry & clothing, to crystals & electronics, as well as a sense of security everyone should feel in the place they reside.

There have been tons of inquiries about how to help and where to donate. As a result, I'm launching this fundraiser to allow all of their friends and loved ones  an opportunity to come together and contribute. They were reluctant to let me set this up.. It can be a strange thing to open up  to recieving support in this way,  but if you're reading this then you know they have an amazing tribe and a little bit from a lot of people can make a world of difference. With their baby due in 2 months ( <3 !!!!!!! ) it would great to get some of their things replaced before then.

Although a lot of the items were sentimental and invaluable, there are some crucial things we can assist in replacing to help soften the blow. Most importantly is the engagement ring. That is a MUST. Among some of the material posessions, a big one is Jodie's laptop. We can't recover her music or recordings, but the MacBook was financed and she still owes on it. I'm hoping we can pay that debt plus raise enough for her to purchase a new one. Miko had some essential audio equipment swiped that is key to what he does as an artist. The rest will be geared toward miscellaneous stuff, and also to help secure all of the windows & entries to ensure the safety of mama & baby. At this point Jodie is afraid to be there alone, avoiding home during a time that she should be resting. Not acceptable.

So let's do this! Jodie & Miko are basically two of the coolest, most caring people south of the wall. The kind of people who show up for their freinds and loved ones. If you're able and feeling called to pitch in, do it.  Pay it forward. Make lives better. =)
