Mikey Williams' Support Fund

If you have been a customer of Mike’s Miami in the past 21 years, chances are you have interacted with our beloved delivery guy, Mikey. On Monday, July 8, 2019 Mikey was admitted to Mt. Sinai Medical Center and has been there since.  He was diagnosed with a serious blood infection. If he had not been taken to the hospital at that time, chances are he would not have made it through to recovery.  While at Mt. Sinai, Mikey was also diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes-he will need insulin shots on a daily basis once he is out of the hospital. Mikey is expected to make a full recovery and will hopefully be able to get back to work within the next two months, but in order to beat this blood infection, he will continue  to be in the hospital for another 10-15 days on order to receive antibiotics by IV.

Mikey is a generous & caring individual who will go out of his way to assist those he cares about, as a veteran Mike’s employee, his friends & family are among some of his long term customers. Mikey always goes a step above to help his loyal customers. The upcoming months for Mikey will be very difficult as he grows accustomed to a new and healthier lifestyle. Mikey will make a full recovery, but he will have no income during these days and at this point, we do not know yet what the medical costs will be, but we know Mikey will need help for his hospital admission and of course, future medical costs. Any support you can give will go a long way.
