Mike's Tuition and Housing
Donation protected
Hello Friends & Family,
I am asking you to join me as I stand in the gap for my Haitian grandson, Mike. Just as GOD completes what He started in us, I intend to see him through and finish what has been started in Mike. GOD says Mike is a Diamond in His hands. Mike has been through the heat and the pressure. The world has said he has little value. His earthly father has declared he has no value. But GOD sees a Diamond!
When Mike's father declared him as good as dead at 18, Mike had no idea that three years later, his father would literally try to kill him. At 18, knowing he had no one to provide for him, Mike did everything possible to make a life for himself. He began going to professional school to learn a trade that would provide him with economic stability. Mike is learning to be an electromechanical engineer. This is Mike's final year of school, which requires a tuition payment of $1,500. This was actually due on the 15th of September, but with the country's current situation, we have a little more time. However, the country's situation necessitates the URGENT need for $250 to complete the payment for October rent. They are requesting $250 by tomorrow because of roadblocks and shutdowns related to protesting.
Please join us in praying for a one-year lease for a total of $3,700 which would be from November 2022 - November 2023. This will provide Mike with safe housing while he completes school. It will also serve as a ministry base and offer me a room while I am in Haiti for the month of November and future trips.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I also encourage you to send prayers and words of encouragement for Mike.
Thank you so very much for your continued support.
God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you’re ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done. As one psalmist puts it, He throws caution to the winds, giving to the needy in reckless abandon. His right-living, right-giving ways never run out, never wear out. This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God. 2 Corinthians 9:8-11 (MSG)
