Mike's Surgical Recovery

Mike has been postponing surgery needed to reconstruct his urethra because disability insurance pays him only 51% of his regular monthly income. To cover his expenses following the previous surgery which he had last year, he sold his guitar and amplifier. Mike has nothing left to sell. Most of you reading this know Mike's story that begin's with losing both of his biological parents to cancer at a very young age, first his mom when he was 5, then Dad at 17. Many loving friends and family members pitched in over the years. As some of you may have experienced, you never stop missing a loved one who has passed. Mike is currently the age Dad was when cancer took him. In addition to the practical issues of rent, food, utilities and transportation, Mike could use some moral support at this time. He's been living with a permanent catheter for the last year and he needs this surgery in order to live without it. Your small contribution will help us send a message of love and support while also making it possible for Mike to have the surgery and the time off work needed to recover. Three thousand dollars will cover Mikes expenses for three months. I'm not including more recent photos in order to preserve Mike's privacy.
