After a couple of years of finding my happily ever after, I hit the age of needing to go in for my first colonoscopy. Unfortunately, this is when I got the bad news that <strong>I have colon cancer</strong>. At this time, they still don't know what stage it is, but have said that I need to have 25% of my colon removed before they'll have more answers. This is the first step in a long journey that may include multiple other surgeries, extensive medical bills, and oncology checkups for the rest of my life, that may not be fully covered by insurance.
