Mikes fight against Lymphoma

Donation protected
A couple months ago I remember getting a call to come over to my parents house after work. I hung up the phone and instantly knew something serious was going on. After weeks and weeks of doctors visits, biopsies etc. for a large lump that continued to grow bigger and bigger on the side of his neck, Mike Franciose, our stepdad, got the news that he had Lymphoma and would have to start chemo right away. When him and our mom, Barbara, broke the news to us, they had also just found out right before that our grandmother, Mom's mom, was just admitted to the hospital as well. After weeks of not doing well, our Nana recently passed away, may she rest in the sweetest peace.

Anyone who is lucky enough to call Mike a friend knows what an all around wonderful human being he is. I know Justin and I feel so blessed to have him as a father figure in our lives, and our Mom is doing all she can to love and support her husband who has always been so great to her. And if you haven't met Mike, all you need to know is he is such a genuine guy, and he would do anything he could to help anyone who was in his situation.

Mike has completed 3 chemo sessions now. He has lost his hair and has his good days and his worse days - with low energy and not feeling well at all. Good news is the lump has shrunken the swelling down, but he still has a few more chemo sessions to try and kill all the cancerous cells that are still there. It hurts us to see him not always be himself, and have to suffer at all.

With our Nana's sudden unexpected passing and Mikes Cancer diagnosis and having to go through chemo now, these past couple months and the months to come have been and will continue to be extremely tough on our family, emotionally, physically (especially for Mike), and unfortunately financially burdening as well. I am starting this Go Fund Me for that reason. Medical bills are already piling up and as I'm sure you can imagine chemotherapy is quite expensive, even with insurance. I know he wouldn't go asking himself, so I set this up so we can all come together and help a little bit with the financial part of it all. Anyone in this situation, with extra thousands of dollars worth of bills suddenly thrown their way, could use a little help to keep up with it all. So we are asking that on his behalf if you are able to donate, anything will help. Thank you all.
