New Hip for Mikel (Gordo) Bruno

Now is the time for all of us to band together to help our family member, brother, friend, co-worker, old classmate start to live his life again.
Mikel aka "Gordo" is finally getting a new hip! As you all know Mikel's hip has been causing him problems for quite some time since he started laying tile at such a young age.
He has been there for us many times usually with a smile on his face and a "what can I do for you" attitude.
Because of insurance issues last November he went back to Arizona to see his physicans with the hope to someday be pain free. Because of our healthcare system this process has been a very slow & tedious one.
He has lost 7 months of work. He has had to wait weeks & weeks for appointments only to wait even LONGER for xrays and MRI's. He has been dilligent & patient all while experiencing incredible pain.
Mikel has lost over 25 lbs (if you know him this is an incredable feat within itself :) in preparation for this surgery. Yesterday he received the final paperwork that his long awaited surgery is a go and is scheduled for June 5, 2017 which is right around the corner.
Now this is where we need YOUR help.....Mikel's immediate family has been there for him and assisted monitarily to this point. They have been his rock but the next 4-5 months will be the most difficult of all because of the rehab process for this type of surgery.
This will be a life changing ordeal for our treasured and well loved friend & family member. We would like to raise as much possible to ease the burden and relieve the stress as he is re-habbing. Any amount will help however, if you are not able to give money could you please pass on this message and keep him in your prayers?
