Mike's Road to Recovery!

Hello I am Mike's niece, Michelle, creating this account for him and his family. As many of you know, Mike has suffered a stroke right around Christmas 2014. After completing an angiogram, the doctors found out some devastating news. One artery in his brain is 99% blocked and the other is 60% blocked and are narrowing spidering causing very little blood flow to the right side of his brain. Also, he has both carotid artery disease and moyamoya. He has an aneurysm and is now blind in his right eye from the stroke. The doctors said if he has another stroke, it can be fatal.

Mike has a loving wife, Lisa, and two young boys, Mason and Myles. He grew up in Lake Station, and now resides in Jasper County. They need him. We all do. This is a very tough time for our family and all we can do is pray and hope for the best. I'm the daughter they never had. Before they had the boys, they were pretty much my second family. Vacations, fun trips, sleepovers, everything. Everyone knows that Mike would do absolutely ANYTHING for anybody!! Any type if donation will help. It all adds up. With him being sick right now, he is unable to return to work and it is unsure if and when he will be able to. I know my uncle and our family will appreciate anything and I just want to thank everyone in advance. We will keep everyone updated as his journey continues. All money raised will go directly to my uncle Mike and his family.

The doctors did say he is like SUPERMAN for surviving this so far, so why give up now?
