Mike Wyatt Pillar of Pride

Donation protected
Fans and friends of Aggie Football most certainly remember the name Mike Wyatt. Coach Wyatt led the Aggies through four seasons before his unexpected passing in December of 2010. Well-respected throughout the Aggie Community, he left a legacy of pride at Panhandle.

As a standing tribute to this great man a campaign, led by Coach GAS, is being started to add the name “Coach Mike Wyatt” to one of the new Pillars of Pride that line No Man’s Land Stadium. Private contributions will be accepted to help reach our goal of $3000. The Wyatt family is in full support of this project and proud to see that Mike’s name will live on at the university he loved so much.

His daughter Brandi Wyatt: “My dad was very proud of his days at OPSU from the time he was a student until he had his dream job of being the head football coach. He and my mom created a legacy for my family and I am proud to be the ninth person in my family to attend OPSU. I look forward to seeing my children attend. I would be honored to see a tribute to my father at Carl Wooten Field. Aggie Pride Never Dies!”

If you have interest in being part of this campaign please let Coach GAS know. You can reach him by email at [email redacted] Donations can be addressed to the OPSU Football Office, PO Box 430, Goodwell, OK 73939 with checks made payable to OPSU Football.
