Mike Trailer’s Funeral and Unexpected Expenses
Donation protected
On October 22, 2021 Mike Trailer was killed by a drunk driver on his way home from work. He was sitting idle at a light waiting to go home and enjoy dinner after a night of driving for Designated Driver TC. Ironic how he was making sure groups stayed off the road after drinking and he was killed by a drunk driver.
Mike was an upstanding member of this community and served as a Paramedic in Grand Traverse County and Benzie County for over 40 years.
He stayed active in his community by driving for a courier service, and also being a designated driver for those who loved to enjoy wine tours and sight seeing around Traverse City.
This unexpected and tragic loss is extremely difficult for his family and any donations raised will be used for unexpected costs that arise. His daughter Cara York and son Chris Trailer will be using any money raised to put towards funeral costs, luncheon following the funeral, legal fees and unexpected bills and costs that will arise throughout this incredibly challenging process.
