"Greetings and sincere thanks to everyone that has generously contributed to the Mike Nemesvary GoFundMe campaign, and also special thanks to all the great people that showed up "en masse" for the Tribute dinner & party last Saturday evening at Café de la Gare in St-Sauveur, Qc. We had over 60 people come, amazing turnout of the freestyle community from across Quebec, Ontario and the USA, reconnecting with old friends and making a few new ones too. A truly memorable evening that showed Mike (and each other) how much we all care for and are looking out for him.
In conversations with Mike and his life partner Mary Anne, we realized they have a pressing need for a new Ceiling Track Lift System which is indispensable for moving Mike from his bed to the bathroom or other rooms in the house where space is tight. Their previous system has broken down, it needs to be urgently replaced, and these systems are expensive, so we are making this the new priority for the funding campaign. Please keep spreading this out to more friends & family and keep the momentum going. Let's make this happen !"
