With  broken hearts, watching Mike In ICU at Kaiser Hospital the last two weeks after brain surgery,
Mike has Passed away suddenly at 3pm 10/13/18

This sudden turn of events of course has all of the family and friends in shock.
Mike was doing so well and was moving towards being transferred to UC Davis  Brain Trauma  Rehab Center possibly in the very near future.
Mike was very proud of his family and the biggest accomplishment was how he provided for them.
17 years in the Marine's and 4 years with Chevron.
Leaving behind is his wife Kristy(41)  and two daughters 12 & 16) and a son (17) .
Please, we ask that donate what you can to help with funeral and the immediate household expenses. Please share this GoFundMe .

This was a tribute written by a friend, brother and Vet. : With his permission I post this here because it is written so well and describes Mike. Thank you Vic
We had a tough day – personally, the toughest day in my history with the club. I am absolutely destroyed, but in this darkness, there is light at the end of the tunnel. As I sat with Mike yesterday I was overcome with a great sense of peace…..or perhaps more clarity; like a direction that I was given. It’s without words to be honest, but I felt him. I haven’t felt peace like that in many years. Suddenly his body became just a vessel, and he looked different. He seemed at rest, as if he understood that we would all be there to care for his family and that it was ok to start healing and be able to move on. I knew he would watch over us and await our arrival to the last duty station in the sky.

Today is a new day. Today we focus on caring for the family. It’s not “Mike’s family”, not “Kristy’s family”, but our family. Today we research getting Mike his favorite resting place, and coordinating the biggest procession we have ever done. Today we make contact with each other and spread the love we have entrusted to each others’ family and promise to hold on until day two. Today I tell myself that I am not here just for myself, but I am here for my family and especially for each of you. Today I take advantage of the new family I have been entrusted to by Mike. Today I note birthdays and favorite foods and Christmas gifts and favorite bands because I have been given three new children and their loving mother to look after.

I didn’t become part of a brotherhood for motorcycles and ridiculous weekend stories, I did it because it came with great responsibility to care for one another. Something I so dearly missed in the military. So I thank you all for being my family, and I am here for you any time you need me.

God Bless you Mike, and thank you for being my brother forever. It is without words right now, but I love you beyond reach. I will miss you, but I feel your spirit, and I know you are right above me, guarding me all the way.

September 29 my daughters husband Ssgt. Michael McNeill was in a horrific motorcycle accident just a few blocks from home. Mike was in a unresponsive state at the hospital and was diagnosed with a severe brain hemorrhage. Mike went right to surgery for life saving emergency brain surgery which has left him a coma like state on a ventilator. Prognosis is still unknown and what faculties he may be transferred to for a beginning of Rehab to what comes next.
As you may guess, this family will be facing huge cost in Mike being unable to work, 3 kids in school and general living expenses for them all. Down the road there maybe huge expenses associated with Mike’s rehabilitation as well. Kaiser’s bills have already started generating in the mailbox.
Please do what you can at this “Go Fund Me” is  helping his family live with day to day expenses while all are at their father/  husband side.
Please consider all that it’s going to take in the long road of rehabilitation.
A sincere thank you and may God Bless.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
Mike's Family and Friends

Mike is very proud to have been in the Marines Corps.
This year he  joined Napa/Solano Veteran Riders.
He and his wife will celebrate in May 20 years of marriage.
Together they have 3 children Son Michael 17, Mackenzie 16 and Morgan 12.
After retirement Mike started a new Career at Chevron as an operator.
Mike has a great sense of humor. He loves to go Fishing,Hiking and Watching the Seahawks during football season. Don't hold that Seahawk fan against him...hahahaha

This photo was taken a few hours before Mike passed. Mike wanted to get up . He was so strong and this was what his PT had been getting him to do just yesterday. We had many conversations since this breathing tube came out. His love for his family was what he responded to the most.
